Deconstructing
The series of deconstructing the self was created as a self initiated endeavour of artistic reflection and discovery.
“Speechless” from the ‘Deconstructing the self’ series, was used as the artwork in Room magazine, a collection of poetry, literature and art.
Room, a Literature, Art and Feminism Magazine, published quarterly by the West Coast Feminist Literary Magazine Society.
The “Let’s Make Contact” issue (40.4) is about more than communication, truth, and sharing. It’s about letting go. It’s about transformation. Broken things can be fixed, made new, made better, beautiful again. It’s about the constant search and need to make ourselves better.
